About

Preble County Pittie Committee strives to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of "the underdog". Our goal is to rescue pit bulls who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters and place them in forever homes that make them forget they were ever almost a statistic. In a world where unfair discrimination and willful ignorance can be a death sentence for these dogs, we strive to educate the general public and show that pit bull heads are almost as big as their hearts, all they need is a chance to prove it.

Our Work

Community Outreach

With this initiative, our goal is to support the welfare of animals in need, even if they are not within our rescue. With the monetary support of our dedicated community, our efforts go a long way in eliminating pet overpopulation within Preble County. By providing much-needed spay/neuter services and core vaccines, we hope to keep pets with their families and out of the shelter system.

Every purchase from our Bonfire store supports pit bulls in need!

Every dog in our rescue receives an exam from a veterinarian soon after leaving the shelter to make sure they are healthy, and afterwards they will be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Our adoption fees exist to help us pay for these vet bills, plus the cost of care while waiting in their foster home to be adopted.

Below you can find a direct link to our adoption application. Can't foster or adopt right now? Check out the link to our Chewy wish list and treat our dogs with good food, toys or treats instead!
