Every dog in our rescue receives an exam from a veterinarian soon after leaving the shelter to make sure they are healthy, and afterwards they will be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. Our adoption fees exist to help us pay for these vet bills, plus the cost of care while waiting in their foster home to be adopted.
